    CSAP Dates: March 3: Writing

                           March 4-5: Reading

                           March 5: pm reading writing combination

                           March 10-11: Math

                           March 11 pm: Science

                           March 12: Science

    • Most tests have three sessions
    • The tests are long days please make sure the students have good breakfasts, lunches and snacks during testing time.

    The students should be recording their reading in their planners.  Parents and Guardians please initial or sign their planners. The students need to be reading an average of 150 minutes a week.  I check their logs on Monday so they have the weekend to make up any time missed during the week.

    Thanks to all of the parents that helped out with the holiday party, the kids really enjoyed it.

    I hope everyone had a great break. It was fun  to see all the kids today and get back to teaching. 

     

    Here is what we will be working on for the next few weeks

    Math: We will be starting unit 6 this week. 

    Literacy: We will be wrapping up poetry this week and starting fiction next week.

    Science: We will be having a short unit on water for about two weeks.

    Social Studies: We will be starting a new unit in about two weeks after science on early Americans, explorers and Native Americans.
